By accessing or using TurboTalkers ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of Service
TurboTalkers is an online marketplace that connects students with Turkish language teachers for 1-on-1 video lessons. We provide the platform infrastructure; the educational services are delivered by independent teachers registered on our platform.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental consent.
- One person may only maintain one account.
4. Lesson Bookings
- Lessons are booked through the platform's scheduling system.
- Lesson durations are 25 minutes or 50 minutes.
- Both students and teachers are expected to attend scheduled lessons on time.
- Cancellation and rescheduling policies are described in our Payment & Refund Policy.
5. Payments
- Lesson packages are purchased in advance through our secure payment system powered by Iyzico.
- Prices are set by individual teachers and displayed on their profiles.
- All payments are processed in USD or TRY.
- Purchased lesson credits are applied to your balance and used when booking lessons.
6. Teacher Responsibilities
- Teachers are independent service providers, not employees of TurboTalkers.
- Teachers set their own schedules, prices, and teaching methods.
- Teachers must maintain professional conduct during all interactions on the platform.
7. Student Responsibilities
- Students must treat teachers with respect and maintain appropriate conduct.
- Students should attend booked lessons or cancel/reschedule within the allowed timeframe.
- Misuse of the platform, including harassment or fraudulent activity, will result in account suspension.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the TurboTalkers platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of TurboTalkers or its content providers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
TurboTalkers provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for the quality of lessons delivered by teachers. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for extended periods. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
11. Modifications
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Izmir, Turkey.
